Analysis of Bone Mineral Density of Women Workers according to Ages, Job Positions and Lifestyles

Abstract
Objective: This study was designed to analyze the bone mineral density(BMD) of women workers. The Ages of workers are between 20s and 50s. Method: The subjects consisted of 1122 women workers who had answered about questionnaires of job position, age, the state of drinking, smoking and exercise. The BMD was examined by OSTEOPRO and classified to 3 groups. the groups consist of ``osteoporosis``, ``osteopenia``, and ``Normal``. I analyzed the relationship between job positions, ages, the state of drinking, smoking, exercise and BMD using ¥ö2-test of the SPSS ver. 17.0. Results: Regarding the relationship between ages and BMD, the rate of ``normal`` was decreased according to aging, and ``osteopenia`` was increased, Otherwise, the rate of ``osteopenia`` was not low in 30s and 40s. In job positions, states of smoking, drinking and exercise, there were no significant differences. Conclusion: According to these results, we manage not only women of menopausal period but also 30s and 40s, With the outcomes of experimental study with pharmacopuncture, we do create the preventive and curing clinical methods of Korean traditional medicine.
